Lamb

We purchase lambs at weaning, shortly after they've come off their mothers. They are then allowed to grow naturally on grass without being pushed too hard. The breeds we typically buy include Texel, Charollais, and Beltex. Upon arrival, each lamb is given a mineral dose and placed in a separate field away from other livestock to minimise any risk of disease. We rear them to approximately 45–50kg, which is ideal for achieving the desired carcass weight.

  4. Good Source of Zinc – Boosts immune health and supports wound healing.
  5. Contains Healthy Fats – Grass-fed lamb is higher in omega-3 fatty acids and CLA (linked to heart and metabolic health).
  6. Provides Selenium and B Vitamins – Supports thyroid function, energy metabolism, and nerve health.
