Garlic Herb Butter Roast Chicken
Rub a whole chicken generously with a mixture of softened butter, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper—get under the skin for extra flavor. Stuff the cavity with lemon halves, garlic cloves, and more herbs. Roast at 425°F (220°C) for about 1 hour 20 minutes, basting occasionally with the buttery pan juices. Let it rest before carving. The result: crispy golden skin, juicy tender meat, and a house that smells incredible.
